An inspiring podcast series Protagonista brings “stories behind the stories” - personal in-depth talks with the top European investigative reporters on all the failures, challenges, drama, and absurdities behind some of the biggest European investigative reporting stories. Reporters from Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, Bellingcat, and many others are challenged to tell a personal story of their biggest reporting hits.
The project was created with the contribution of Dystopic Requiem Quartet and Árpád Soltész and directed by David Dusa and produced by Emilie Blézat (Dark Riviera & Sciapode). Protagonista is a War Room Content project, a partnership between Dark Riviera, investigace.cz, Sciapode, Reporters Without Borders, YLE, NeedCompany, the Segerstedt Institute University of Gothenburg, Serial Killer, SerienCamp, co-funded by the European Union.
